The complex features dedicated courts for multiple sports, including the traditional Maldivian game of Bashi, as well as volleyball, basketball, handball and netball, providing a multi-purpose venue for both recreational and organised sporting activities.

According to the Housing Development Corporation, the new facility is expected to ease existing challenges in booking sports courts in Hulhumalé while promoting physical fitness and social wellbeing among residents.

The corporation also indicated that further developments are planned, including additional sports facilities and outdoor gyms, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance community infrastructure in Hulhumalé.
