The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade has amended regulations to extend the maximum duration of night markets to ten days.
Previously, permits for night markets were awarded for a maximum period of seven days.
The regulation, which was amended yesterday and publicized in the government gazette, allows night markets to operate for an extended period, offering more opportunities for both consumers and vendors.
Night markets are designed to provide products to the public at lower prices and serve as a platform for small and medium-sized businesses to sell their goods. These markets are often held during Ramadan and holidays such as Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha, offering a variety of products to the community.
