President Launches Judicial Year 2024, Honors Long-Serving Judiciary Staff
In a ceremony held at Dharubaaruge on Thursday, President Dr Mohamed Muizzu officially inaugurated the ‘Judicial Year 2024’, highlighting the importance of setting new goals and reflecting on the judiciary’s achievements from the past year.
According to a press release issued by the President’s office on Thursday, the primary focus of the inauguration ceremony was to establish a roadmap for the upcoming year, outlining key objectives and strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Maldivian judiciary. Speaking at the ceremony, President Dr Muizzu emphasized the need for continuous improvement to ensure the justice system remains responsive to the evolving legal landscape and the needs of the citizens.
Further, the President presented commemorative plaques to long-serving employees of the judiciary with over 35 years of service.
Officials present at the ceremony included the Chief Justice of the Maldives, Uz Ahmed Muthasim Adnan, alongside other senior members of the Judiciary and government officials.
