RDC Awarded Road Development Projects in Raa and Alif Alif Atolls

The Road Development Corporation has been awarded contracts to undertake road development projects in Hulhudhuffaaru, Raa Atoll, and Himandhoo, Alif Alif Atoll.

A special ceremony was held to formalise the agreements, with State Minister at the Ministry of Housing, Construction and Infrastructure, Hassan Rasheed, signing on behalf of the ministry. The contracts were signed on behalf of the Road Development Corporation by its Finance and Accounting General Manager, Hassan Rifaee Bushry.
The Hulhudhuffaaru project will cover the second phase of road development on the island, continuing ongoing efforts to improve transport infrastructure. The projects for both islands have been awarded with a combined completion timeline of 730 days.
The developments are expected to enhance road connectivity and support broader infrastructure improvements in the respective islands.
