Tarring of Four-Lane Detour Link Begins in Addu

Tarring of the four-lane detour link in Addu commenced on 18th April, reveals the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure. 

The project comprises the construction of two bridges and three embankments.

Spanning a length of 1.463 kilometres, the detour link promises to streamline transportation networks and facilitate smoother vehicular movement across various sectors of Addu. 

Approximately 200 meters of the link have already been coated so far, according to the ministry.
