The college provides 21 master’s courses, 26 postgraduate diplomas and certificates, 48 bachelor’s degree courses, 50 diploma courses, 17 foundation courses, 17 Certificate III programmes, and one Certificate II programme.
These programmes include partnerships with several international institutions, such as the University of the West of England, the University of Cyberjaya in Malaysia, and Taylor’s University. Key areas of study span Information Technology, Computer Science, various Teaching disciplines, Law, Business Management, and Engineering. Engineering students can complete their final year at the University of Portsmouth following three years of study at Villa College.
According to Dr Ali Najeeb, Vice Rector of Villa College, the majority of courses—except for those in engineering, teaching, nursing, and pharmacy—will be available online, offering flexibility for students. Classes will be held across several campuses, including those in Naifaru, Gan, Mahibadhoo, Hithadhoo, and Kulhudhuffushi.
Dr. Najeeb emphasised the college’s focus on preparing graduates for the global job market through advanced teaching technologies and facilities.
