In his social media post, Yasir vehemently denied any involvement in theft or any other unlawful activities. He refuted the allegations, asserting that they are entirely baseless and lack any substance. He viewed these false accusations as an orchestrated effort to damage the reputation of the company and undermine the trust cultivated with clients, employees, and partners over the years.
In response to these claims, Yasir said he has taken decisive action to protect his rights and defend the reputation of the company. He said that defamation claims have been filed against Diyares and Mihaaru, the media outlets responsible for spreading the false and unverified news.
Yasir maintains that he does not have the authority to initiate payments from ERP or any banks. Responsible designated staff members handle all cash payments, and there is no record of any cash payments being deposited into his personal account for the past three years, he said.
RDC and its managerial staff have recently come under fire for corruption allegations. A case of MVR 13 million being transferred from RDC’s account to the company’s CFO, Yasir, is currently being investigated by the Maldives Police Services.
