The first dish that was introduced in this lunch pack series was a Nasi Kerabu with Kapitan Chicken. The backbone of this dish and any Malaysian meal is rice. Infused with butterfly pea flowers, the rice is accompanied by a generous amount of Kapitan Chicken. This chicken curry is an amalgamation of Malay, Chinese, and Indian eating cultures. Together with these, the pack also included a salad, sambal, fried coconut shaving, and prawn crackers.

The new lunch pack introduced for September is a Thai Panang Chicken Curry. Originating from the Malaysian Island, Penang, this curry has a notable combination of peanuts and coconut milk that gives it a distinctive sweet taste. The meal pack includes fragrant rice and Thai Panang Chicken Curry together with the sauce, cucumber salad, prawn crackers and Thai son-in-law eggs.

This is a golden opportunity to revisit and enjoy Malaysian food while you’re in the Maldives. Each lunch pack is MVR 120 and orders are taken on a pre-order basis for each Saturday with limited slots. DM @girlfromathousandisles to place your orders when they are open!
