Pattice Launches New Gift Pack Full of Goodies, Dedicated to a Worthy Cause
Pattice, a local business selling homemade soft serve ice cream, has partnered with other home chefs and launched a new gift pack dedicated to a worthy cause.
The gift pack, which retails for MVR 500, was created in honour of those battling cancer, or who have battled it in the past. According to Pattice, all profits from the sale will go towards the Cancer Society of Maldives.
The pack includes four various types of edible goodies:
1. 150g honey roasted almond granola from @milkandyolk
2. A chicken lasagna from @homemadeby.lara
3. A classic basque cheese cake from @saali.x
4. A pack of pattice by @patticemv
The gift pack will be delivered on the 4th of February (World Cancer Day) between 4-6 PM.
Malha, the co-founder of Pattice, expressed on Instagram that this cause hit close to home, as she has spent most of her adulthood battling cancer herself.
At the age of 19, she was diagnosed with blood cancer (CML), and today as a 28-year-old she is still fighting it. Though she was in remission for four years, she got diagnosed with COVID-19, prompting the cancer's return.
Together with home chefs dear to her heart, Malha has created a gift pack for anyone who’s going through a similar journey, or anyone who has survived it.
Gift this to someone you love who could use a little cheering. To preorder, simply DM the Pattice Instagram page.
