Traybakes made the decision to expand the joy to more people and begin selling her cupcakes online after becoming inspired by the passion Maldivians had for cupcakes and the demand and love they received from family, friends, and previous customers.

Although she also bakes chocolate cupcakes and round butter cakes in various sizes, her signature butter cupcakes are the star of the show.

In the future, traybakes says she would love to open a take-away outlet just for cakes in different locations. She says she also wants to collaborate with well known Chefs to create unique dessert menus as well feature her works in international fairs.

Traybakes says that she is also working towards being available nationwide; including islands and resorts.

Running a business in the Maldives is very wholesome, she says. Her customers are very nice and enthusiastic about multiple orders. Speaking from her experience in running the business parttime, she says that government should take initiatives to help small businesses grow.
