Minister of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology Ali Ihusaan has urged the public not to spread false information about the Rasmale’ project that could cause division.

Ihusaan was responding to a Facebook post by Zamzam Farish, which claimed the project threatens Islamic unity in the Maldives and objected to Eagle Hills Chairman Mohamed Alabbar’s own security detail holding authority over Rasmale’ instead of the state. Ihusaan said Maldivian law enforcement will hold full legal power across the country, including Rasmale’.
