Parking Zone Established at Billoorijehige

A parking zone has been established near Billoorijehige after removing the parking zone from Neelofaru Hingun at Speaker Nashee’d residence.
This parking zone was created for the security of Nasheed following the terror attack against the him on May 6th while he was making his way to Majeedhee Magu towards his car as Neelofaru Hingu is usually congested with parked vehicles.

Former Male’ City Council President Shifa revealed that she had requested to make Neelofaru Hingu a no-parking zone previously to Planning Minister, but did not receive a favorable response.

Following the attack, Planning Ministry has now given the greenlight to establish a parking zone near Billoorijehige instead.
