STO Gives Food Court Operators in South-West Harbour 90 Days to Vacate Following Port Expansion Plans

The State Trading Organisation (STO) has issued notices to operators of the 26 food court units at Malé’s south-west harbour, ordering them to vacate the premises within 90 days to make way for the expansion of the Malé Commercial Harbour.

Notices issued to the operators state that the premises must be vacated and handed over to STO within 90 days of receiving the notice, after which their agreements will be terminated.
