Gov’t To Host Awareness Session on Cervical and Breast Cancer for Senior Citizens

The Ministry of Social and Family Development is set to organise an information session addressing cervical cancer, breast cancer, and menopause for senior citizens residing in the Male’ area.
The event will be conducted by Hulhumale Hospital’s Well Women Clinic this Thursday from 4:15 pm to 5:45 pm at the senior citizens’ centre.

“It is vitally important to maintain your health as you age. It is important to be informed about cervical and breast cancer as these can be treated and cured if diagnosed early,” the ministry stated in an announcement today.
The ministry also noted that the senior citizens’ centre has been regularly organising informational sessions to provide essential health information to the elderly community.
